Paper submission
All regular papers should be prepared and submitted according to the following guidelines.

Review
All submissions will be reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers and by one program chair. It is not required that the submissions are anonymous, but it is possible to submit anonymously if that option is preferred. Papers will be accepted for oral or for poster presentation.
Awards
During the conference, two awards will be announced based on recommendations of anonymous reviewers and programme committee members: best paper award and best student paper award. The award papers will be invited to submit extended manuscripts to the special issue of Pattern Recognition Letters journal (an official publication of the IAPR).
Paper format
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which in turn will appear as a volume in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Authors are to follow these paper formatting guidelines.
Paper length
A submitted paper may contain up to 12 pages. Accepted papers are limited to 10 pages, with a possibility of two extra pages.
